Tasks

yourCompany ApS currently assists 15 insurance companies with investigations and inquiries regarding insurance claims. We are continuously receiving more and more property damage claims and are now looking for a specialist to be the primary coordinator in this work area.
We carry out the necessary investigations independently and report to our customers on an ongoing basis. At the end of the case, we produce thorough reports with a focus on quality, so that the reports can be used in court or appeal bodies. But we also work quickly and methodically.

We use a range of exciting IT tools to support our work. At yourCompany, we have a total IT package that no one else in the industry has available. We aim to deliver top-class investigations, supported by modern technology and software that go hand in hand with traditional investigative skills.

At yourCompany, you can expect to do more than insurance investigations from time to time, but this will be your primary and daily work area. We regularly conduct corporate investigations for companies affected by internal fraud, non-compete violations, theft of trade secrets and much more. The right profile can also expect to be involved in such ad hoc cases.

About you and your unique skills

As an insurance investigator specializing in Property Damage, you need to have knowledge of and an interest in the typical design and luxury home goods (watches, jewelry, clothing, furniture, etc.). Including knowledge of price levels and market value is a necessity.

In addition, you must have the desire to talk to all types of people. You need to have a positive and friendly approach to everyone you talk to. Insurance customers who have been burglarized shouldn't be automatically put in a suspicious light. Conversely, you also need to be able to spot if someone is messing with you and our customers.

You are probably a current or former police officer who has worked in areas such as acquisitive crime and special investigations and now wants to try your hand in the private sector. You may not have a lot of experience in the insurance industry, but you are eager to learn and are good and quick to familiarize yourself with new work material.

You may also work (or have worked) for an insurance company specializing in Property Damage. You may want a high degree of freedom and you want more influence over your day-to-day work and can live with the fact that the salary may be one level below the typical salary level in the insurance industry.

Regardless of your previous background, you are well-liked and pleasant to work with. You're driven, you're diligent, and you can both work independently and contribute to the team. You live a reasonable distance from Greve, where you typically come in on a daily basis. You have your own car and are aware that yourCompany ApS services tasks all over the country, which is why some days there is a lot of driving and working hours are not necessarily 7.5 hours that day.

Besides being a skilled investigator and a good colleague, you are also a good administrator and understand the value of following (and co-developing) yourCompany's instructions and compliance processes. Your reports are well prepared when they are handed in. It is natural for you to update various systems on a daily basis so that the team can easily take care of your cases if, for example, you become ill or are on vacation.

You have a relevant education in the field of investigation. You can translate your investigative experience into operational processes where you:

• have top IT skills and have good knowledge of the entire Office suite.
• is resilient and flexible.
• is a nice person who is smiling and great to work with.
• is curious about new IT programs and comfortable using new technology.
• have some experience with OSINT work, which is an important area for us and is included in almost every type of assignment.
• thrive on customer contact.
• are good at expressing yourself in writing and speech. You deliver high-quality reports in Danish, but also in English if the assignment requires it.
• You have your own car and, of course, a valid driving license, and you can present a clean criminal record upon employment. You have left the police voluntarily.

The position is full-time and you will be employed as a salaried employee with a 3-month probation period. If you are the right candidate but do not want to work full-time, we are still interested in hearing from you.
