This week we brought home 800,000 DKK worth of leasing cars. It was even a short week of just 3 days. That's how we like it, happy customers at express speed. The short week also included a couple of projects for regular customers, where we as outsourced security consultants have helped reduce fraud and fraud, while a couple of investigations were also completed.

Missing lease cars are a classic problem for leasing companies. The idea of leasing is to hand over your nice car to a happy lessee who can cruise around in a cool ride for an affordable monthly payment. However, some leasing customers occasionally allow themselves to withhold payment or otherwise breach contracts. Usually they can be talked out of it over the phone, but sometimes it requires other methods. That's where we come in.

This time, two of our leasing customers needed urgent help with three cases of leased cars that had fallen into the wrong hands. Maybe rented or leased to a third party? Legally, it's hard to say when it's a case of deliberate fraud from the start, or whether it's ”merely” a breach of contract. But the company naturally wanted their cars back so they could make an overall assessment of the case.

In these cases, police training comes into its own. We have experience talking to all kinds of people, we're used to good old-fashioned digging - and we never give up. Okay, almost never.

Anyway, we found the first two cars on the first day of the week, while it took us two shots to find the last one. But no one escaped. Our concept for leasing customers is alarmingly simple. We work on a fixed hourly rate plus diesel for the trips. There is full transparency about the effort, and the bill never runs out when we are on track.

This week's bottom line looks good. We've recovered cars worth over 800,000 kroner in less than a day and a half. That's a business case we can live with, so we're going to take a weekend - but if you need anything, you're always welcome to call or write.
