Since 2017, Plantorama has been a customer of the security company yourCompany, which combats fraud in companies and organizations. The collaboration has been so successful that Plantorama has now decided to hire the consultant that yourCompany has provided for the past two years. A clear proof of the value of fraud prevention, according to both parties.

Full focus

Torben Castenskiold believes that Plantorama will accelerate the fight against fraud in the future. ”yourCompany has shown us how great the potential is. We have already reduced shrinkage quite considerably. The next task is to tackle the sources of fraud that we have now identified. This is a full-time job for a security manager. As yourCompany's consultant was almost fully occupied with tasks for Plantorama, it was a natural solution to make an agreement with him and yourCompany so he could continue the work.”

Thanks for the fight

”We will miss Simon, but it makes sense for Plantorama to take the step to a full-time security manager,” says Christian Pejtersen, CEO of yourCompany. "It's part of our concept to make the largest of our customers ready to handle the day-to-day processes themselves when it comes to dealing with fraud issues. For the same reason, our contracts always include the option to take over our consultants if that is what everyone wants, but we are also happy to assist our customers in headhunting qualified security staff if desired.

It takes a certain size to get the economics of a complete security function, but in Plantorama's case it's an obvious choice.”

In the future, Plantorama will still draw on consultancy services from yourCompany when needed, but the ongoing tasks will be handled internally.
