Unpaid bills, large insurance sums and leased cars that disappear.
Too often we hear about shady companies taking advantage of well-intentioned players in the insurance and automotive industries and leaving them with huge losses in their wake.
With an agreement on the development of a new, common screening module on bilstatistik.dk DBI IT A/S and yourCompany Aps have today taken a big step towards offering help to companies that want to address the problem of customers who can't tell the difference between yours and mine.
A question of transparency
YourCompany, which consists primarily of former police officers, solves a large number of cases each year, such as insurance fraud and missing cars. Through this, they have built up extensive experience of the patterns that often seem to recur in the companies involved. Based on this knowledge, a risk assessment is made and if it is considered potentially problematic, the screening module will be triggered. The increased transparency will give users of bilstatistik.dk a much better opportunity to identify increased risk and make a more specific credit and risk assessment.
In case of an accident
Although the new module will be a powerful tool for preventive work, some will still slip through the security needle's eye. When the module is fully developed, expected in the fall of 2021, it will therefore also be possible for screening subscribers to request yourCompany's assistance for more in-depth screening or actual investigative work so that lost assets can be returned to the right hands.
A collaboration that makes sense
Morten Teglhus Gottschalck, yourCompany's Professional Manager for the Automotive sector, has no doubt that the collaboration makes sense:
”Bilstatistik.dk is a tool that is already widely used by players in and around the automotive industry, so it makes perfect sense for us to make our knowledge and expertise available where the industry already collects knowledge about potential customers. With this setup, we can strike the perfect balance between the best data quality, a keen eye for detail and having operational tools at our fingertips. This is a project with big ambitions to tackle crime in an automotive industry that is often exposed to different types of fraud.”
Peter Andersen, Sales Director at DBI IT, agrees:
”Our companies represent two sets of competencies and values that go very well together. We both want to help our customers optimize their business and minimize risks through data-based insights and increased transparency, and we look forward to doing this together in the future.”
