There is a lot of money to be saved if the construction industry can effectively limit shrinkage and theft from construction sites, says security consultant Christian Pejtersen.

No one knows exactly how much waste is generated by the construction industry in Denmark, but a realistic estimate is between two and five percent of an annual turnover of DKK 200 billion. In other words, between four and ten billion Danish kroner worth of waste per year. Internal shrinkage and employee theft are unfortunately part of the cause. Read the article here:
