An initiative that in our view is both necessary and timely - and which we at yourCompany ApS highly recommend and strongly support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organized financial crime, health and safety violations and systematic exploitation of foreign workers have been major challenges in the construction industry for years. These issues not only undermine competition, but also erode the credibility of the industry, leaving both companies and employees vulnerable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new industry forum brings together forces across trade unions, companies and industry players. The aim is to strengthen the authorities' efforts, improve coordination and create joint solutions that can make a real and tangible difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>yourCompany ApS - experience since 2016: We see the problem up close every day<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2016, yourCompany ApS has focused on preventing, identifying and fighting crime in the construction and timber industry. Our experience covers everything from credit fraud and identity fraud to systematic theft, exploitation of MitID, organized flows of goods and complex investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We know how professionally many criminal actors work. Common understanding of the scope of the problem<\/strong><br>Crime in the industry is more complex, more professional and more organized than ever before. We also need to have the courage to speak up about the crime that goes on inside companies, carried out by individuals against company interests and guidelines. By joining forces, it strengthens data sharing, analysis and cooperation between authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Stronger safeguards against fraud and exploitation<\/strong><br>A formalized forum provides a better opportunity to develop concrete tools and solutions that help both large and small businesses protect themselves. YourCompany ApS already has experience of industry collaboration from the Danish Construction Centers Association, where we have assisted the industry in the fight against fraud and crime for a number of years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. But the effort does not stop here. There is a need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Better opportunities for lawful sharing of video and surveillance data for prevention.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Better opportunities to legally share credit information, right down to the business level. This will prevent financial losses for businesses and stop the flow of money that costs businesses dearly, but finances criminals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Live sharing of credit information will also reduce the amount of endless and meaningless reports that the financial industry sends daily to a police force that doesn't have the resources to put data to practical use. Several of the leading industry players in the construction industry have also taken good initiatives in the form of background checks before hiring and fewer subcontractors on their construction projects. Important and good initiatives that will help to reduce the scope for criminals in the \u201dland of plenty\u201d.
